When you book a flight on a partner airline with miles, the price isn't set by the airline you're flying — it's set by the program you redeem from. Each program publishes its own partner award pricing, in one of two common models. Distance-based charts (the Avios family, Japan Airlines) price by how far you fly: a mileage band maps to a fixed cost. Zone-based charts (Air Canada Aeroplan, ANA, Alaska, TAP and others) price by region pair — say North America to Europe — for each cabin. A few programs, notably the Brazilian ones (Azul Fidelidade, Smiles and LATAM Pass), price dynamically, so their figures here are rough estimates.
